Motion to approve the Minutes. 00:00:00
Second motion. Second all in favor. Say aye, aye. 00:00:03
OK. 00:00:07
Thank you. Department comments we'll start with. 00:00:09
Barrier Virgil today Very good. 00:00:12
This one is going to be tabled one table from last week. 00:00:24
Demolition we did back some time ago. 00:00:28
The owners having some issues with the cost of the demolition. 00:00:31
Yeah. Ohh can. 00:00:36
I I. 00:00:40
I've been. 00:00:41
Virgil on that property, Mr. President. 00:00:43
Yes, Sir. 00:00:46
I I know those. 00:00:48
Persons and they've reached out. 00:00:50
My concern is I don't know what was. 00:00:53
Put on. 00:00:56
What? What? What was verbalized versus what was put on paper? 00:00:57
Umm. 00:01:01
I think there's been some kind of. 00:01:02
Confusion as to. 00:01:04
The cost of the demolition from. 00:01:06
And have you all conferred together? 00:01:08
Yes. Is this the one where they came in and complained that the cost of double from what they were talking? 00:01:11
Well, technically we don't. We don't tell owners how much it's going to cost because we don't know. 00:01:20
We don't don't know from one property to the next. I was we can do is give them a ballpark. 00:01:25
Or round about, guess about what it might cost. 00:01:30
We always tell them that the cost is dependent on the number of loads. 00:01:34
Ohh, what? I was in the house. Asbestos, that sort of thing. So we never give them a hard price. 00:01:38
I don't need any of these houses. 00:01:44
Is this in any way out of line with? 00:01:47
Similar structure and size material the content that's on that property. 00:01:50
There's tons of concrete on it. There's tons of accessory buildings plus. 00:01:55
All those buildings were full of material. 00:01:59
Mr. Wilson, what are they considering? Trying to do it themselves? Yes, Sir, from from my understanding, they were. 00:02:04
Initially trying to see if. 00:02:11
The cost? 00:02:13
Of the demolition would have been. 00:02:14
Less expensive. 00:02:17
For the for them to have the city to do it. 00:02:19
Than them to do it. 00:02:22
And. 00:02:24
I think some of the the person, the personnel are part of that. 00:02:27
Congregation. 00:02:31
I think one of the persons is a license. 00:02:33
Contractor. 00:02:36
And that's I think. 00:02:37
Where? 00:02:38
The number of hours. 00:02:40
And concern of the total price or the the? 00:02:43
The congregation members actually are. 00:02:47
Concrete contractor, Yeah, and he has the equipment to tear it down. He just didn't have the time to do it. That would meet our 00:02:49
time frame. 00:02:53
Which is what they were initially intended to do. 00:02:57
Was teared down themselves, but they were running out of time because we needed to get that in front of y'all, because they've 00:03:01
been sitting there for so long. 00:03:04
We work with them on the time to give them an opportunity to go in there and tear down themselves to save them this money but. 00:03:08
The the time that they needed was not going to coincide with what we needed to do for y'all. So so basically this was a time 00:03:15
issue. 00:03:19
And even if it had come to us, we could have actually tabled it prior to the end. 00:03:24
And to give them more time that will save them. 00:03:28
Perhaps, perhaps 9795 thousand. 00:03:31
It's possible, but you know. 00:03:34
It it it, the end of the day, y'all would have still wound up having to condemn it and give them the the opportunity to tear it 00:03:36
down within that time frame. Otherwise the house may still be standing. 00:03:41
How much time do they want? 00:03:48
I I mean, I don't know. I'm just kind of. 00:03:51
Actually. 00:03:53
Calculating is it within my head of the differences of of the needs? Basically if if they could have come in and and pulled the 00:03:54
demolition permit and started tearing it down. 00:03:59
We could possibly work with them and kept it off the Council's agenda. 00:04:04
And just let them work at it as they went. But it it sit there for you know several weeks. I I can't say they sit there for 00:04:07
months, but it sat there for a long period of time when nothing going on. 00:04:12
We were getting complaints on the property so we had to move on. 00:04:19
We move on, boy. 00:04:23
Yeah, yeah, we we move and it's well, y'all were generous enough to more than double our code enforcement staff last year. 00:04:24
Very emergent through fantastic job. 00:04:33
So. 00:04:36
Personally feel. 00:04:38
With their situation, but at the same time, that's the situation. Those neighbors, I think you were too. 00:04:39
So. 00:04:46
What are you? 00:04:48
What is the what can we expect tonight I guess because I'm sure that they will they're they're they're gonna more than likely 00:04:49
already the fact that we that we proposed a $4000 amount. 00:04:55
And what we actually told the owners, the price would start at $4000, but there's no way we could pinpoint an actual dollar amount 00:05:01
because we don't know how much contents is in there, don't know how many loads is going to be, don't know any of the details is 00:05:06
regarding. 00:05:11
The actual, you know, cost of the demolition. 00:05:17
We know about where it's going to start, but we don't know where it's going to end. 00:05:20
But that was just an estimate, a good back and say this to good faith estimate. 00:05:23
Yeah, sure. If I can say this, I've been. 00:05:28
You know the Council in some form of fashion for 21 years. 00:05:31
This is the first time I've ever had a situation where somebody said you gave us a quote that gave this price and it ended up 00:05:35
being that price. It's probably a misunderstanding. 00:05:40
Barry and Virgil professionals, they're they're they're going to outline what it is and allow people to make their own decision of 00:05:46
whether they want to use a private contractor. They want to. 00:05:51
Move forward with city forces. 00:05:56
I think the decision now really rests with them. Do they want the city to do it? 00:05:59
Are they going to do it? 00:06:05
I had not heard that. 00:06:07
And myself, and and you know how long I've been here I was, I was curious as to how that even came about because. 00:06:09
We don't tell people. We don't tell people how much they initially come out with. You know, we we got an estimate. 00:06:17
Of about $5000 to tear it down, how much could the city do for do do do the demolitions? 00:06:23
What would our cost be? 00:06:30
Well, the house is going to start at $4000. 00:06:32
That doesn't include. 00:06:35
All the concrete, all the accessory buildings. 00:06:36
The contents. 00:06:39
So are you talking, you know, 5050 loads of debris hauled off that one side. So that's probably why they didn't hear that it would 00:06:42
start at 4:00? 00:06:46
So you know, I spoke to you this morning and I spoke to Miss Washington again this morning also and. 00:06:52
I guess my question is, is that if? 00:07:00
What you said this is, I have no problems with that. 00:07:32
I just wanted to know and I sent you an e-mail and I haven't had a chance to follow up. 00:07:35
After that, but I just wanted to know. 00:07:39
To help them out with the hardship, How much time do they have to to pay this back? 00:07:43
Mike, is there a time frame or deadline that's going to be? 00:07:49
No. 00:07:54
But we put a lien on the. 00:07:55
Main operating right, Right, Right. 00:07:57
Yeah, well, I can discuss that with Jimbo. It's it's not a situation that, like Mayor said has come up before, but but we'll 00:08:00
typically do a promissory note with. 00:08:04
With people, I mean. 00:08:09
What what we don't want to have is. 00:08:11
We don't want to foreclose on a piece of property with a lien amount. 00:08:14
That's $10,000. If the piece of property is $2000, we're never gonna get another 100, right? 00:08:17
So I think if we can work something out with him, I think that would be. 00:08:24
The best thing don't you? Don't you? 00:08:27
And I do miss. Miss Washington won't be here tonight, but she's sending some representatives and so she trusts whatever decision 00:08:30
we all It's already been toned down. 00:08:34
The cost, which you really have to. 00:08:40
I mean. 00:08:43
You have to do. 00:08:45
Um, in speaking briefly with with the. 00:08:46
The delegation the other night, they were gonna look to either raise money or find. 00:08:49
Some organization maybe to help them. 00:08:54
To deal with the cost of the demolition. 00:08:57
So they just needed some time. 00:08:59
How long you been? How long has that whole process been? 00:09:02
For them, very How, How long have they had? 00:09:06
How long have they had? 00:09:10
However they had so far. 00:09:11
Alright, so we're going down a couple months. 00:09:13
OK. 00:09:19
When were they contacted? 00:09:20
Like shortly after it was demolished, like notification the building had been. 00:09:22
Been demolished. 00:09:27
And I believe they got got sent the the cost cost of the actual demolition shortly after that. 00:09:29
Now the dates, I I can't quote that to you. 00:09:36
When did this go into condemnation? 00:09:39
When did they go into condemnation? Yeah, you know. 00:09:43
Can you put this out there for a couple of months prior to this spring so? 00:09:47
Because of the. 00:09:53
We were giving them time to get their estimates. 00:09:55
Things like that. 00:09:58
And the the difference between the city and outside estimates is twofold. 1 is. 00:09:59
We don't have somebody can go out there and just. 00:10:05
Give a. 00:10:07
We do it by load and time only. 00:10:08
Other. 00:10:11
Ohh outside entities. 00:10:13
A lot of times do not use the city dump. 00:10:16
They'll find somebody that will allow them to fill a hole up, so they're saving money there so they can. 00:10:18
Downgrade their cost. So that's the reason why sometimes the cost difference is there. 00:10:24
And then also outside entities do not have to. 00:10:29
Well, let me rephrase this. 00:10:33
They do not always. 00:10:35
Adhere to. 00:10:38
Ideal requirements for asbestos. 00:10:39
As the city does, we have to have it removed prior to entering. 00:10:42
So that's an extenuating call from some house. Don't know if this one has it or not. 00:10:46
And and I do appreciate all of that, you know, removing the hazardous material in a certain way and and making sure that first of 00:10:51
all you're eliminating light. So I mean. 00:10:55
I want to work this out, but we needed that to be demolished and torn down. And it was. But I I didn't know any of the details 00:11:00
until we talked about everything else that was on the property. It wasn't just a small house. It's a lot of concrete. It's other 00:11:06
structures and tell them what was in the storage. 00:11:11
Places on the structure, Yeah. So that was a lot. So I I do understand. 00:11:17
I think they just probably, it seems like to me they're stressing about meeting the deadline of financial deadline. Yes they can. 00:11:22
To meet the financial deadline and the amount. 00:11:28
Scott, will you have something for us tonight? 00:11:32
Yes, Sir. I'll get, I'll get with Jim Bell and and we'll, I'll figure out what our usual parameters are for our promissory notes. 00:11:35
That works for everybody. 00:11:42
OK. OK, Barry, thank you and Virgil both. 00:11:45
You all have a very tough job when. 00:11:52
Nobody likes to see you coming. 00:11:55
The neighbors. The neighbors did, yes. All right, Mr. Foy. 00:11:59
All right, this is what we tabled last week. This is the Pier 43 Marina proposal. 00:12:06
I have Addison Flash Lane to clarify some stuff. 00:12:13
This is what it looks like now. 00:12:19
And this is additions They're adding some transient dots. Are going to add a. 00:12:22
Staff only. 00:12:26
Boat ramp to put boats in and out of dry storage. 00:12:28
They're covering some. 00:12:31
Floating walkways. They're gonna put floating walkways over concrete walkways that flood now. 00:12:33
Ohh some boat rental return docks and then. 00:12:39
The stuff we've had questions about, is it nine additional? 00:12:42
Rental slips. 00:12:46
Right now I'm at the left side of the red. That's what they're going to add, the Yes Sir, and the 73210. That's the next door 00:12:47
neighbors dot. 00:12:52
That's where I had him take off a boat slip to give him room between his dock. 00:12:57
And they're in the starting of their job. 00:13:02
So we could. 00:13:04
Right. It's gonna be like an 18 foot gap there. 00:13:07
So we we cut one wet slip off. 00:13:10
But other night in council we had a. 00:13:14
Some questions about safety Miss Howard had. 00:13:17
And stuff. This is the slow coming in. 00:13:19
They are, yeah. The red circles are no weight, idle speed, only boys coming into the Marina. 00:13:22
And then the yellow is where I was, where we measured the distance. 00:13:30
There's 472 foot from the first no wake idle speed, only boys. 00:13:34
To the beginning of the. 00:13:39
Marina. 00:13:41
So it's. 00:13:43
No wake is below 5 miles an hour. 00:13:44
So. 00:13:47
You can't get any safer than that on putting booze. 00:13:48
There's actually seven boys and a whole slew. 00:13:51
I got more movies in that Sloop or no way out of speed only. 00:13:53
Any other slow on the way? 00:13:57
Because I live in. 00:13:59
House right there. 00:14:01
The the lady that was there last week, Miss Brown I think was her name is the. 00:14:02
142. 00:14:09
3/6. 00:14:11
And we shot the distance with the laser going her up here, she's uh. 00:14:13
265 foot inside the no weight design. So that's. 00:14:16
88% of a football field. 00:14:20
There's people speeding by her. 00:14:25
Dark it's not because it's against the wall. They're not supposed. 00:14:27
You're not supposed to be within 75 foot of a dock. 00:14:30
Going over 5 miles an hour. 00:14:33
Sweden, right? 00:14:35
Thank you all. 00:14:39
Thank you for tabling for a week till we get, but thank you all for. 00:14:40
Going out and doing that work. 00:14:44
For everything you did, I'm going to ask that we table this one more week because Dale Phillips can't be here tonight. He asked 00:14:47
me. Would we table? 00:14:50
I believe we will. 00:14:54
Both of your problem. 00:14:55
One more question, Where where is this County Road? 00:14:56
I'm not familiar with him. I'm guessing that's the the. 00:15:01
I mean, it's not, but I mean, if he's up here again, how about that point right there? 00:15:05
I don't know why people be going around that loop all the way around anyhow. 00:15:12
I have just lost. 00:15:15
I've gotten a phone call back from Commissioner Acker about this, but I have not been able to talk. 00:15:17
About the viewpoint Rd. because he was going to call up there and. 00:15:22
A couple things that were said about him being involved in whatever, I don't know. 00:15:26
I just asked him to get back and call me back, so. 00:15:30
That's a. 00:15:33
A County Road that's up there, so I don't know what's going on. 00:15:34
I'll find out. I'll let you on that. 00:15:37
Yes, Sir. 00:15:39
Thank you James for everything. 00:15:42
Alrighty. 00:15:44
Mr. Mills. 00:15:45
Yeah. 00:15:53
Yeah. 00:15:54
Alright, good afternoon Mayor and Council. We have 7 applications today. 00:15:56
The first one is a public hearing. 00:16:02

A change of ownership. 00:16:20
It's changed ownership. 00:16:22
Is that the? 00:16:23
Has it got a name? Not the lucky dollar. 00:16:26
No, it's not something like that. 00:16:28
The next to it is first little farther down from Lucky Dog going towards the Dollar General way that way. 00:16:31
OK. 00:16:39
The next application I have is for Levy Premium food service. 00:16:42

On Bryce Paul W Bryant Drive Lawn. 00:16:48
They plan for special retail less than seven days. 00:16:52
For actually the next two will be September 2nd and September 9. 00:16:55
What's going on those? 00:17:00
I think it's a football game. 00:17:01
Hmm. 00:17:03
About a hundred 200,000. My closest friends. 00:17:05
And is that? 00:17:11
In in the state? No Sir. It's on the outside of their own Champions Lane. It's gonna be like a beer garden. 00:17:12
Is it open to the public or? 00:17:19
It's open to the public, Yes Sir. 00:17:21
Tiger Woods. 00:17:23
Yes, Sir. 00:17:28
Yeah. 00:17:30
Before. 00:17:30
What made a beer garden on the lawn in front of the stadium? Yes, Sir. 00:17:32
Between there and University Blvd. Yes Sir on on walking Champions way. 00:17:37
They're gonna bring flowers and all that. I don't know about all that. 00:17:43
Well, how many do they have a? 00:17:47
Government. We set up the mobile showers there too. So is, is there a number of people shall be going to beer garden? 00:17:51
From Sheldon surprised the part with them. 00:17:59
I mean, they're gonna care that setting up a tent and restricting access or what? You know what, I gotta get more details on how 00:18:03
they gonna have the perimeter set up, but. 00:18:07
They're applying just to set up on the outskirts of it. I think we're. 00:18:12
Maybe on that right side or? 00:18:16
Up there, other property, did you see they're going to be here? 00:18:18
Yes, Sir, Yes ma'am. Levy is a very respected, yeah, they they held a lot of alcohol out there. 00:18:21
The labourers. Yes Sir. They wanted Brian inside the stadium. 00:18:28
Coliseum and baseball right now. 00:18:31
I'm sorry, chief, do you know anything about this? 00:18:36
No, Sir. 00:18:38
I think there's a concern there's just not enough alcohol in game things, yeah. 00:18:40
People. 00:18:45
Barely break even as it is. 00:18:49
It's a margin. 00:18:52
Ohh. 00:18:53
Has a little German flair to it. 00:18:56
OK. 00:18:58
We can make it, you know, September and October. 00:18:59
And no. 00:19:02
The words for next year, October. 00:19:04
Somebody duct tape him down there. 00:19:07
All right, my next two applicants is for Sigma Phi Epsilon. 00:19:12
I'm sorry about starting starting enterprises for signify epsilon for the. 00:19:16
Texas Tailgate and for Old Miss Tailgate. 00:19:19
Located at 304 University Blvd. 00:19:23
They're applying for a special retail less than seven days of application. 00:19:25
Alright, and then my last two. 00:19:32
By Party Down LLC. 00:19:34
For Culverhouse, Texas Tailgate and for the Culverhouse, LSU Tailgate. 00:19:36
At 380 Stadium Drive. 00:19:41
Where is Culver House? 00:19:44
Yes, yes, Sir. UH, Business School. 00:19:46
We're going to have alcohol there too, on the outside, Yes Sir. 00:19:49
For that tailgate thirsty between there and the stadium. 00:19:54
I had to call her house and granddaughter when my talent service Saturday night. 00:19:58
Cold. 00:20:03
I I do think we we had this discussion this morning. 00:20:07
With the university. 00:20:10
Totally. 00:20:11
It's going to be this, this fall. 00:20:13
Probably this fall. 00:20:16
Certainly the the the home schedule is is. 00:20:19
Amazon. 00:20:22
Texas is going to be a legendary status, yeah. Because. 00:20:24
Of the name recognition, and I suspect the 2011 or 2019 LSU games will look small. 00:20:28
Compared to what we will see on September 9th with Texas and really leading up that entire. 00:20:36
Week We're going to have some extremely exhausted firefighters, police officers. 00:20:43
City employees Hundreds of city employees who? 00:20:49
Be working extra duties during that week to make certain all of our visitors have a really good time and we keep the rest of the 00:20:52
city. 00:20:55
Operation one say. 00:21:00
So just. 00:21:02
Hang on. 00:21:03
It's gonna be quite dry. 00:21:05
I just hope they'll come through. Most of them come through Alberta going to the game. That's right, come through. That's what 00:21:09
I've been telling you, to stop and eat, get you gas. 00:21:13
Legally, and I know it is, you know, on some levels, especially for us, that live here, if it does have its inconveniences, but 00:21:18
there are a lot of people who. 00:21:23
Pay their mortgages. Pay their car payments. Save for their children's future. 00:21:28
Because of what? Those game days? Absolutely. And so I. 00:21:32
I know they're, you know, they certainly put a lot of pressure on us and the university, but it is good for our community. Yes 00:21:36
Sir. Do we? 00:21:41
Rose, do we see or get? 00:21:46
Law enforcement augmentation on the surge weekend like that. 00:21:49
Either from. 00:21:55
A small community surrounding I would restate. I would recommend that if we did discuss that we doing an executive session just 00:21:56
because of the Homeland Security and protection. 00:22:01
But we would be more than happy to discuss that with you. Well, I know somebody did because I used to see small community. 00:22:08
Police officers positioned down. 00:22:15
University Blvd. Maintained track. 00:22:17
So maybe that's the universe. 00:22:20
Right. 00:22:22
That's my last. Thank you. 00:22:24
It's Tony. 00:22:26
Mayor medics just real quick enjoyed my time. We. 00:22:28
You know, we we didn't have the star of the show, so we didn't have a big turnout. 00:22:33
And last Thursday at Skyland. But it really, I mean good turnout and and a lot of actually. 00:22:37
Um. 00:22:44
Just a lot of problem solving. I really enjoyed it. So you were well spoke of and and very missed. 00:22:45
Salvation was there then. 00:22:53
Yeah. 00:22:55
Wow. That's how rumors get started. 00:22:57
Great. 00:23:00
And then our last in the series will be Thursday, September 7th at Catcher Taste. 00:23:02
It is, though you've heard me speak about this informally. 00:23:08
On Tuesdays, we deal with, you know, a lot of the minutiae of city government and a lot of the the huge, overarching issues of 00:23:11
state government. 00:23:15
When you go to these town hall settings, as you see at your own town hall meetings, it's about storm drainage, it's about paving, 00:23:20
it's about public safety, it's about Rd. projects, etcetera. One of the things, Mr. Lanier, I do want to point out is that there 00:23:26
are already questions coming up regarding Hwy. 69 S. 00:23:32
In terms of the construction project, the city is moving its utilities now. 00:23:39
I just want to emphasize that that is an al dot managed. I don't know project. I think yeah. 00:23:43
And how God has assured the city they have a communications plan. They are going to respond to citizens. 00:23:53
And businesses request. 00:23:59
But again, that is an ALDOT managed. 00:24:01
Project. 00:24:05
And we will certainly be putting out. 00:24:06
The information on that because that project a lot like what you see with Mick Wrights Ferry Road and. 00:24:08
Jack Warner Parkway. 00:24:14
It's gonna be a tough project. 00:24:16
And. 00:24:18
And so we just want to make certain that the constituents and all seriousness have questions. 00:24:19
They can get him answer. 00:24:24
Right. 00:24:25
So we there was a lot of questions regarding that at your town. 00:24:26
Other than that Lookout closing out strong in your district and and the mayor of Alberta is inviting me into into his jurisdiction 00:24:30
and I look forward to I look forward to being there. 00:24:35
I will have the red carpet for you today. That's all I have. You know, we I want to eat people. 00:24:41
Misunderstand like Hwy. 216 I got. 00:24:48
A group of folks upset. 00:24:52
Because there's been a lot of tickets written, speeding tickets. 00:24:53
And. 00:24:57
But it's about state troopers. 00:24:58
So and they were biased in our police and everything, you know. 00:25:00
We're forcing the law. They were, first of all, did you say Alabama State Troopers? Ohh Yeah. 00:25:04
And I said here, plus that's the state highway, that's state troopers, that's not the city or our Police Department. 00:25:10
And the response was ohh. 00:25:16
Thank you. I didn't know. 00:25:19
We're here to serve and provide information. 00:25:22
And also to I I did I left out. 00:25:25
Again, anyone that's interested in supporting our schools with donations. 00:25:28
For school supplies, please do. Please do so, especially if you have an outstanding parking ticket. You can pay off that parking 00:25:33
ticket by donating school supplies and For more information. 00:25:38
You can go to tuscaloosa.com or call Tuscaloosa 311. 00:25:44
And again, Mr. Lanier, 311 probably got the most. 00:25:48
Rave and highest reviews so ohh yeah please let Miss McBride know Doctor Rush. 00:25:52
How many? What's the what's the deadline is at the end of August, last day of August. I want to say the end of August. Ohh. 00:25:59
I'm glad you said that. 00:26:08
Because it's I didn't. I didn't write down notes, and that's always tricky. I sent you all an e-mail this morning, but we have a 00:26:09
new Municipal Court administrator. 00:26:13
Jessica Junkin, It's Jessica here. Does she sneak in on me? 00:26:17
There she is. 00:26:21
Right. 00:26:23
I told Jessica to be here pre council and then I almost left out the big the big announcement for myself. 00:26:30
I really, And I know that Mister Bell, we appreciate you being part of the interview committee. 00:26:36
The. 00:26:42
All this? 00:26:43
For the interview. 00:26:44
OK. 00:26:45
And I agree with you wholeheartedly. 00:26:46
She is a determined, hard working. 00:26:48
Ohm. 00:26:52
Leader in our city and I think she's going to do a fantastic job. She's well, she has earned. 00:26:54
This position with hard work and dedication. 00:27:00
I'm very proud of you. 00:27:03
Look forward to working. 00:27:04
Thank you. 00:27:06
Wonderful. Congratulations. 00:27:07
Cash. 00:27:10
I got school supplies. 00:27:14
OK. Any other department comments or announcements, anybody here in the room? 00:27:18
OK. 00:27:24
Mr. Holmes, you're up Sir. Sir, good afternoon council. Good afternoon. I did get an answer to the question regarding the second, 00:27:26
the pricing that demolition, typically we have promissory notes that would be paid within a year. 00:27:33
We have on rare circumstances taking that out to two years if council approves the setting of the cost and the filing the lien OC 00:27:41
A will handle that negotiation with property owner. I think we've gotten loud and clear that. 00:27:48
The Council probably like us to be as flexible as possible. We do that. Thank you, Scott. 00:27:56
I am up on the top of page three. We're on page 21 and 22. You'll be authorizing an application to the US Department of Housing 00:28:02

This came from projects on the 8th. 00:29:46
And finally for me, on page 30 and 31, you'll be amending Chapter 16, Article 3, Division Four of the Code of Tuscaloosa. 00:29:49
We do have at least one item for executive session, potentially a second if you'd like to discuss the game based security 00:29:58
procedures as well. 00:30:03
OK. Any questions for me? 00:30:08
These questions for you just. 00:30:10
Thanks Sir. 00:30:13
See, we got projects 230, finance 315, public safety at four, of course, council at six. 00:30:18
Our Rd. improvement Commission will meet is that. 00:30:24
Monday. 00:30:28
7:30 And then, of course, our budget hearings continue with Public works. 00:30:29
A week from today at 8:00. 00:30:34
And. 00:30:36
So also. 00:30:38
I'm gonna have Vicki send everybody then. Stacy, you the mayor? 00:30:39
Please, please, please everybody try to be at SWJ. 00:30:43
Technologies and Alberta on September 14th. 00:30:48
5:00 there's going to be a. 00:30:52
Major, major announcement. I guess that would be too early. I would you went today. 00:30:55
So, well, I appreciate you thinking of. 00:31:03
Ohh Listen, I got the real area to man, the people say. 00:31:07
No one was there when I got there. 00:31:11
Although I'm missing September 14th. 00:31:13
Five, OK. 00:31:17
You know, honey, I wouldn't be there September, September 14th. 00:31:20
Nikki, I'll get some information and send that out and. 00:31:25
And I'll make sure Stacey. 00:31:28
Gets you there, Mayor. Cause Wolfgang. 00:31:30
Ohh Wolfgang. 00:31:32
Both senators have been invited. The governor, the governor has said she can't be there. 00:31:35
But I think Senator Britt has said she will. 00:31:41
But anyway. 00:31:46
Wolfgang seemed more. 00:31:48
Excited about really wanting all the council and of course the mayor to be there, so. 00:31:50
This is huge news that you'll hear from Justin coming out of Tuscaloosa, AL. 00:31:56
That can change the. 00:32:00
The face of. 00:32:04
Cars. 00:32:05
And how we crank them in the future. 00:32:07
So yeah. 00:32:10
Going back to basics, so, but he merely means a lot for him. 00:32:13
So I hope you all can. 00:32:18
Make make sure you come by. 00:32:19
It's from 5:00 to 7:00, but the announcement will be right at 5:30 and then there'll be refreshments and you can tour the. 00:32:22
Facilities and. 00:32:29
Beer garden. 00:32:31
There will not, I'm aware of. 00:32:33
There will be a Tiger Woods facility. He's got a big beer garden. That's a big part of the top stroke. 00:32:36
And I think I told you all there. 00:32:44
Marketing people will be here in a couple of weeks and they are definitely looking at. 00:32:46
Big. 00:32:50
Four, Probably the week before Thanksgiving. 00:32:51
For their official. 00:32:54
Ribbon cutting. 00:32:57
Now make sure everybody knows. 00:32:59
All the details on that too because. 00:33:01
As of as of last Thursday. 00:33:03
The man is supposed to is still supposed to be here. 00:33:06
For for the ribbon cutting, and I think everybody wants to. 00:33:10
Touch Tiger. 00:33:14
And shovel thing we're going to all this will be cutting the ribbon. 00:33:16
Yeah, they're moving fast too. Really fast. 00:33:22
Starting to take shape? 00:33:26
All right. Is there a motion we go into executive session? 00:33:28
Second one. 00:33:31
Procedures, assessments, measures, or systems, or the security or safety of persons, structures, facilities, or other 00:34:03
infrastructures the public disclosure of which could reasonably be expected to be detrimental to public safety or welfare. We have 00:34:08
a motion second all in favor, say aye, any opposed. 00:34:13
OK if you are not. 00:34:18

They apply for a retail beer off premises and retail table wine off premises. 00:16:10
Right. 00:16:19
Applying for a game day on September 2nd. 00:16:45

And finally for me, on page 30 and 31, you'll be amending Chapter 16, Article 3, Division Four of the Code of Tuscaloosa. 00:29:49
We do have at least one item for executive session, potentially a second if you'd like to discuss the game based security 00:29:58

These questions for you just. 00:30:10

Ohh Listen, I got the real area to man, the people say. 00:31:07
No one was there when I got there. 00:31:11
Although I'm missing September 14th. 00:31:13
Five, OK. 00:31:17
You know, honey, I wouldn't be there September, September 14th. 00:31:20

But anyway. 00:31:46
